Appeals Process
Citation appeal status may be checked online.
- Appeals to the HSC Parking Services Office must be made online within 10 calendar days of the alleged violation. An individual has 3 opportunities to appeal a citation.
- A first appeal will be reviewed by the Administrative Review Officer (ARO). You must appeal the ARO's decision within 10 days of the letter denying the first appeal.
- A second appeal will be reviewed by the Parking Appeals Committee.
- A final appeals hearing may be provided should the individual wish to contest the findings of the Parking Appeals Committee. The Hearings Officer will be appointed each year by the Law School Student Bar Association. The final appeal must be submitted within 10 days from the date of the letter denying the second appeal. Individuals appearing before the Hearings Officer must bring any supporting documentation. The decision of the Hearings Officer is final and no further appeals will be provided. Individuals who fail to appear at three scheduled hearings before the Law School Hearings Officer will have his citation(s) ruled valid and no further appeals will be provided.
