Permit Payment

Credit card (Visa or MasterCard), cash, personal check, tuition (students only), or payroll deduction (faculty/staff only) are accepted.

Payroll Deduction

Complete a Parking Payroll Deduction Authorization Form with the Parking Services Office. Faculty and staff currently on payroll deduction for vehicle registration are only required to submit a new vehicle registration form for the annual renewal of their permit. Payroll deduction will continue until the employee elects to have it terminated.

Pre-tax Parking Option

Payments are deducted from employee paychecks on a pretax basis, reducing Federal Income Tax Withholding and Social Security Tax Withholding, and increasing take home pay. Complete a Salary Reduction Agreement and return it along with a Parking Payroll Authorization Form to the Parking Services Office. If you are making the election after payroll deductions have already begun, you may return the Salary Reduction Agreement directly to Parking Services, MS 6290 or by US Mail, send to Parking Services, 3601 4th St. STOP 6290, Lubbock, TX 79430-6290. (Must be received in Parking Services prior to the first of the month in order for the agreement to be in effect on paychecks processed during the month.)

Note: Faculty and staff who would like to change reserved lots may place their names on a waiting list maintained for each reserved lot. When spaces become available, employees will be notified and given an opportunity to change their reserved lot. Please click on the respective waiting list to add your name or to see the current list.
